Outward Bound

i didn't die at obs ... muahahahahaha

all i can say is that i truely enjoyed it and had fun and got darker and itchier (damn you mosquitoes and sandflies)

i overcame my fears, realize my strengths and weaknesses and also made new friends !

i also gained like new nicknames : maria, minah arab and pee girl. wth

thanks to the instructers, sexy LJ and shiauger Connel as well as the Nehru people for making it happened.

i am so going to miss obs, currently having the blues right now.
and there were tons of classic hilarious moments :

fian having cramps while doing the capsize drills on the first day. wah lao damn hard to rescue him la

joyce and jor's FDA but failed to do so cause it was broken on the first day while kayaking (i just had to kayaked with them).

alson barging in between joyce and jordin when we were having our floating excercises in the sea on the first day. and i was next to jor. how classic.

little small me bailing huge king kong alson for high elements on the 2nd day.

huzainie and i climbed the inverse tower on the 2nd day and made to the top. once we get down zai was cursing about the other high element.

i made breakfast for the watch but it got eaten by some freaking unknown animal.

land expedition on the 3rd day. trekked for like 9 hours straight or something like that, all i know was that my legs were seriously aching. got to know noris better when trekking with her as we were carrying the oh-so-heavy drinking bottles on a stick. the soles of joyce's shoe came out so she had to constantly administer 'first-aid' to it. on the way back the boys were singing emo songs. they really should consider forming a boy band or something.


sea expedition on the 4th day. looked like some minah arab on her way for pilgrimage when wearing the sun protection. but then again everyone looked like they were terrorists from taliban.

kayaked with huzainie and lisa. lisa and i gossiped while paddling. huzainie thought his ore was a paddle so he started to paddle. no wonder we were going the wrong direction.

looked over at the other kayaks and saw that maisha, gaya and alson's kayak wasn't moving. that's cause alson fell asleep while paddling. truely amazing.

me and bealson are peeing buddies. whenever i see him pee i would also feel like peeing. i took damn long to pee la cause got no ambience.

huzainie, lisa and i keep banging into other people's kayaks and laughed at ourselves for making them feel frustrated.

on the last day was bittersweet. no more sleeping in tents and on top of rocks, no more getting bitten by pesky insects , but also no more fun. they made us walked on planks and do a jetty jump! amazingly i did it and still can help amirah swim towards the ladder to get up :)


now there's nothing to look forward to but mye. pffft.
